Signs of Spring are all around us including a quieter town with everyone off on Spring Break. I found myself across the Pacific in the land of cherry blossoms. The Japanese celebrate cherry blossom season like no other. There’s a Sakura (cherry blossom in Japanese) flavored Kit Kat and I was thrilled to discover a Sakura infused Gin (one can not live on wine alone). There was so much to discover and explore in this ancient country and I know I only scraped the surface. And with only a week back in the US, I’m still absorbing this epic trip. You may find a Sake cocktail on the menu soon!
The Foggy Grape Society, our monthly wine club, meets tomorrow, April 20, to taste and pick-up the latest club release.
